wrapped up~

"We can’t get so wrapped up in our own misconceptions...
that we miss the simple beauty of the truth." Deb Caletti (Stay)

and the truth is..
I am wrapped up.... in my own little truth...
in that, there is no misconception

and there is simple beauty..
that is wrapped as well..

and texture ...wrapped ...

and things...simple beautiful things...
treasures from another trip... to be unwrapped...

and in the unwrapping..
there are no misconceptions...

My Atlantic is calling....I must leave again.she smiles...she smiles.....

...for those who want to know..
the top was made from some fabulous cotton bought here...
and the pattern is VogueV8323....simple..
and I love it..
and oh..
the color is oyster...most appropriate, wouldn't you agree?..

Until reading this, I never realized how much of the everyday is wrapped, in some way. Take an extra deep breath for me. Enjoy.

Beautiful! I've been wrapped up too, but in my litigation. But this weekend I got to wondering if your vacation was impacted by Irene? Hope not and that you are home and safe and sound :) Looking forward to hearing all about it!

PS your sewing and photography is always a welcome respite ~
