the laughter of time~woven

"No story is a straight line.
The geometry of a human life is too imperfect and complex,
too distorted by the laughter of time
and the bewildering intricacies of fate to admit the straight line
into it's system of laws."

Pat Conroy (Beach Music)

A story..
a life..
imperfect and complex...

I am bewildered by the time that has passed..
the intricacies of fate...
that have kept me from..
this safe haven of mine.

time...
woven..

into a system where laws do not
take precedence..
where...
in a moment of courage..
you embark on a task with
tenderness and faith...

the geometry...
the lines...
each one..
a delicate thread...
reaching..stretching...
farther...

you allow the lines to form..
take shape..
and you laugh..
at the simplicity of the story..
a story of color and form..
of airiness that surrounds the whole...

a system of lines..
dancing across your heart...
delicate threads that form strong bonds...

a story..
of my life.
