there is a sense of containment,
that these last unsettling days of early spring
bring me,a feeling of being trapped,in a way,by the gray and desolate days that have become the norm over these past months.
the rain plays its tapping on the windows..
I feel the wind rise through my soul..
I am silent within...
that sense of containment..
so..I decided to project this feeling...
and create..
a container ..of sorts..
a take off on my needle rolls..
a book...
a needle book...
stacked....
wrapped....
a place to hold..
to contain...
to pin....
and a key...
the key to unlock..
the containment~

oh my, that is wonderful! reminds me a little of a jacob's ladder toy, stacked so tidy-like. or of a shell w/pearls inside. just before, the sun peeked out... it was wonderful!

That is so much more than a needle book. I understand that feeling of containment. I feel it as I wait for spring to really make its appearance. The sun shone this afternoon and I felt a little less contained.
