~published!
"My heart gives thanks for
empty moments given to dreams,
and for thoughtful people
who help those dreams come true."
William S. Braithwaite
I have been published...
Yes...me...
I can hardly believe it myself...
but here it is in black and white and living color.
I have been keeping a secret since last July.
When I was generously asked if I was interested
in having an article published about my blog by
a sweet Flickr contact...luvpublishing...
President and Publisher Kellene Giloff,
of the Stamptington Company and
ARTFUL BLOGGING magazine...
And it has arrived...
the Spring 2010 Issue...
Featuring T Does Wool...
Words and images....
I hope you will enjoy...
they have done a fabulous job...
I am totally thrilled..
a huge amount of gratitude I offer to Kellene...
and the the magazine editors...
for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
And a huge thank you all...
for supporting me with your words of kindness
along the way....

~january indecision
"Then indecision brings its own delays,
And days are lost lamenting o'er lost days.
Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute;
What you can do, or dream you can, begin it;
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
January...2010...
and here I sit..feet up...indecisive for so long...
the holidays have come and gone...
and I have sat...delayed...
pondered and dreamed...
and finally...
finally...I have made a decision...
I will use the Habu...
the tsumugi silk charcoal
time to use...
use it up...
and enjoy...
it will be my Japanese Tea leaves ...
so I begin...and
I will work...
and savor each stitch...
like a cup of good tea.
no need to rush...
it is January...
a time to be slow....
a time for waiting...for spring...
for yarn balls...
and treats...
from far away...
a time to send...and for others to wait...just a little.
but a time to seize the moment...
try something new...
something magical...
I will not regret this January.
no...I this time I will make decisions...
and be happy with them.
and finally...
finally...I have made a decision...
I will use the Habu...
the tsumugi silk charcoal
time to use...
use it up...
and enjoy...
it will be my Japanese Tea leaves ...
so I begin...and
I will work...
and savor each stitch...
like a cup of good tea.
no need to rush...
it is January...
a time to be slow....
