secrets~

"I not only have my secrets,
I am my secrets.
And you are yours.
Our secrets are human secrets,
and our trusting each other enough
to share them with each other has much to do
with the secret of what it means to be human."

Frederick Buechner
I have my secrets...
and I am my secrets....
secrets...
that are on their way..
secrets going across the sea...
human secrets,that I am trusting...
to share with you...
hoping she will not mind...
with love~
something..
to warm her hardworking...
talented..hands...
~white birch leaves
something with the colors...
of Autumn...
something I made up as I went along...
and I think...
that sharing this with you..
has much to do with what it means to be human...

Early Sunday morning...
I just woke up and while reading your post, I feel tears coming up... this is so unexpected, I need to take a deep breath to read on...
One of your secrets must be that you can read minds, long distance that is, because I have been wanting these for a long time, wishing I could knit, thinking about learning myself to knit during the long winter to come...
... and yes, why not, I already see myself sitting outside in a fragile winter sun, wearing these lovely gloves while knitting...

Thank you dear friend, I hope your package will be arriving soon and I'll be waiting impatiently next to the mailbox.

Such beauty! I love things that we make up as we go along, especially as we dream of someone we care about. Somehow the warm thoughts we are thinking weave themselves into the work and the result is more beautiful than any pattern could predict.

You give from the heart. The gift, while stunning in and of itself, it small really in comparison to the love that accompanies it! You are a wonderful friend with a huge heart!
