"...As we surge up into the world, we try to devise a shape, a plan. There is dignity in this. Your whole life is a plot, a scheme, a diagram. It is a failed scheme but that's not the point. To plot is to affirm life, to seek shape and control..." Don DeLillo We do this, we all do, we plot, devise, seek ways to shape...our daily lives... and there is dignity in this...
but, that's not the point... It was time.. for me,to diagram some shapes... of my own...
to design,create... and by taking a little control ... I do not think it failed...
And to affirm this .. I decided to share...to gift.. these thought out plans, these designs..
in hopes.. that they would bring some pleasure to a life. keeping your hands warm... and maybe your heart as well. my designs have been made available in PDF for download by clicking on the links on the right sidebar.... a gift to you all... Chinese Waves...(the gray ones here) Greek Waffles...(the black ...) and Gray Dawn(the twisted cable mitts)... from my previous posting Enjoy~

If life is indeed a plot, a scheme, a diagram - albeit a flawed one - and to plot is to affirm life, to seek shape and control...then this my lovely friend is a triumph. You have dreamed up this wonderful plan and created such beauty...with the spirit of friendship at its heart...you continue to astound me xx
Lovely - thank you.
Lovely, lovely patterns, but I'm having trouble with the downloads. My anti-virus software is blocking me from the site you put the downloads on.
You would do readers a service by linking to Ravelry instead.
How wonderful! There is so much beauty in your writing, photography, and knitting. I feel lucky to bring some of that loveliness into my own life. I will definitely be casting on soon...
