a wrap is in order~
"In that moment,
when watches and clocks misbehaveand you feel a cold vapor wrap itself around your heart,
you unconsciously draw a line at the bottom of a long
column of numbers and come up with a sum
Perhaps it's one that fills you with contentment
and endows you with a level of courage and
an acceptance that you didn't know you possessed.
Or maybe not."
James Lee Burke (The Glass Rainbow)
It was time...time to accept...
and release the cold vapors that had wrapped about my heart...
when someone you love ...
is told something that will break all hearts...
it has become time to be courageous for them.
so..
I decided that a warm wrap...
perhaps something,
something that may fill one up with contentment...
was in order...
so I unconsciously drew a line...
and came up with a sum...
9 days and 190 cm later...
I have Selene ...finished and ready to block...
again I brought out the Cocoon ...
in a shade of gray...
one that has clouded my recent days...
but there was light in the background...
that had endowed me with a sense of courage..
some for me...
and some for the other...
there were long roads ahead
some that were ripped...
right from the pages of a good book...
and other roads that may be harder to travel...
but long walks...
and memories....
would surely bring us to a place to reflect...
a place of calm...
a sense of serenity ...
a place of acceptance..
or maybe not~

I was reminded of Alice Walker's poem...Take the contradictions of your life and wrap around you like a shawl, to parry stones. To keep you warm....
Sending you hugs and wishing you all the strength you need.
Take care my dear friend {{{HUGS}}} xx
