tr.v. snood·ed, snood·ing, snoodshmmmm. looks like a cowl... but I begged off cowl's last winter... it's that whole , pulling it over the head, messing up your hair thing... but Michele... so beautiful, kind and generous... gifted me this wonderful alpaca... straight from the alpaca's in Tasmania... and I wanted to use it close to my body, to feel the warmth and softness. tried several patterns... and not really happy with any, started this snood... from Rowan Winter Gifts... and came to love it... problem is... it's not a net for my hair, it's not a headband, and oooooh... I hope it's not that fleshy turkey thing... don't tell anyone... we'll just call it a cowl for now.... and seriously...how could I not share this...?
To hold (the hair) in place with a snood.
