Summer light~
"Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end.
It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing;
it's when you've had everything to do, and you've done it"
Margaret Thatcher
Yes...finally...this sweater is completed...
I am satisfied...
And I can move on...
It's been a slow paced summer...
and the summer light is falling on this winter shadow.
Knit in the round...
Kidsilk haze and Blue Moon Socks that rock heavyweight...
the exact yarn...a copy all the way...
something for me to warm up the chills ahead..
We will be leaving the city flare
this Friday...there are lists to make...
and packing to do...
for 8 days away at the shore...
a peaceful place..
where the sound of the tide lulls you to sleep...
I will see you later then...
refreshed...and hopefully with my shadow in tow...
