"All truths are easy to understand once they are
discovered;
the point is to discover them."
Galileo

the truth is, I really don't like to be photographed...
never have...
probably never will...

Nothing worse for me than taking my own picture,
except,

Having someone else take it....(especially when your caught
picking flowers with your hand at a
weird angle)
The
pleated wrap is complete...
and worn...

and loved...
the truth is,
I made this for one reason,
to take along to the beach, when the evening tide comes in,
and a slight breeze fills the air.

and this,
well,the truth is,
just because.

Oh, I am so with you. I've never liked being photographed. That shawl is so gorgeous in its simplicity. It will be just perfect for the beach (or anything else).
your pleated wrap is perfect.
I can imagine you wandering along with beach in the cool of the evening, wrapped in 'palest summer grey' xx
Beautiful wrap T. Makes me want to throw the mitts aside and cast on immediately...
Sometimes the truth is just what you don't want to hear, but it doesn't seem to be offended by that, 'The truth is.......'
Not a phrase I wanted to hear this past week. But once it's there, it's there.
The wrap is beautiful.

Have a nice time at the beach...
It's all so beautiful. You, the wrap, and the words....
Your pleated wrap is lovely and the colour is perfect for cool evenings on the beach!
I don't like being photographed either, I always have weird expressions! The wrap is, well.....just too perfect, you get it right all the time. xx
I don't much like being photographed either. Luckily, my kids love it!
These are beautiful photos of your shawl!
Gosh, I hate having my picture taken - ugh, I am always talking and my face is distorted. That wrap is gorgeous - I love the simple elegance of it.
I hate being photographed. I love to photograph others but...
Gorgeous wrap, enjoy it at the beach. :)
what a perfect wrap in a perfect colour and a perfect location to wear it...
i love this. i just bought the magazine that this pattern is in this weekend at joann's. i can't wait to make something out of it!
that is some truth...it even applies to me.
the shawl in it's simplicity, is quite a useful piece. even though i enjoy the beach much, i never am without something to wrap on my shoulders!
the truth always sets you free!
...gorgeous work as usual :O)
In my mind, this is the best reason to make it: just because. Just because it called to you and you wanted to create something special. This is indeed very special. I love the gray and the small pleats. I am sure you will wear this for years to come. Enjoy!
i hate being photographed too, ...get where you coming from
the wrap is GORGEOUS!!!!great colours and details
am with nora on this- i want to throw everything aside and cast on too!
Wonderful, wonderful photos and the pleated wrap is so perfect.
I love the shawl, the colour and style. Just because is the best way to make things, it makes them so much more enjoyable to do!
I have been wanting to make this one myself. It looks like it would take forever though. Love the gray!
Your wrap looks great! Much longer than mine, but then again I just wanted something to throw over my shoulders. Simply beautiful.
i'm tempted to cast on too, this is such a beautiful project!
i hope it has many beautiful walks along the beach too... :)

I keep looking at this pattern too. It is so very 'Theresa'. A classic.
The shawl is gorgeous - really beautiful!
it doesn't matter that you aren't comfortable in front of the camera because you are so wonderful behind the camera!

my truth is: i love your wrap & your pictures
The wrap, your photographs, and your writing, are beautiful.
Oh Theresa, I love it. It might just be the pattern to get me out of my slump.
The truth is what it is and should not be judged. I love your wrap.
