"Doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty"
{quote} from the movie
DOUBT...
When I purchased this
Rowan Summer Tweed
I was certain what I was going to knit
.....

it was going to be Whitby from this new
magazine ...
but,I doubted that I would like it in the end...

so, instead I decided to make this
Veste Croisse...
this,I had no doubt,that I would love...
I was certain of it

at first,I was doubtful of the yarn,
but as I made progress, I knew, with all certainty
that this yarn...silk and cotton...tweed
would be perfect...light,summery,just was I was hoping for...
yes,I am certain I will love wrapping in this.

and when
this arrived from
Elaine {thank you again}
I knew, without a doubt, that I loved it,
I still am not certain, however of what to make...
but,whatever it becomes,
I am certain it will be loved...no doubt here

and this, well the Rowan Summer Tweed...
reminds me of this color...
without a doubt...

Without a doubt, I am certain that it will be beautiful! :) I've used Rowan Summer Tweed before and it is perfect yarn for a spring/summer knit. That Gray color with flecks of blue is gorgeous!
I am certain this yarn you have chosen is more than perfect for the Vest Croisse, it's will be stunning as always. I hope mine will be a pretty as yours.
No need to thank me, just a little gift for someone who is special to me :)
Beautiful photos, I want to jump into the sea....but I can't swim!

Everything you do is wonderful, without a doubt.
I am certain that that knitting will be as beautiful as evrer!
What a fun post! I also love Whitby but agree it might be a bit iffy to wear. On the other hand Veste is certain to be very wearable (and very "you").
Looking at your pictures I can almost smell the salt in the air!
it will be beautiful. I can't wait to see you modeling it!
lovely colors here. looking forward to the finished projects!
Doubt is such a powerful emotion.
I'm knitting with that colour Summer Tweed too - had soem doubts about the feel as I was starting but I too think it's a great summery yarn now - hope I'm as certain when I finish my jumper!
That color is so beautiful!

beautiful, beautiful - your knitting is awesome - and your photograhy makes it look magical! Bravo!
It's doubtful that you could make anything you didn't like in the end. Beautiful words and pictures.
Whitby is indeed beautiful but I think the Veste Croisse will be perfect. And that colour is just divine.
golly what a beautiful colour x
mmm. that veste croisee is most distracting, isn't it. :)
I have ordered the same Rowan yarn, and I'm also having doubts about Whitby -- too blousey (?) I'm afraid. Love the idea of using the yarn for the Veste Croisse -- great looking pattern.
