hush...

a hush fills the air
a silent storm
a land of white
there is work going on
there is more work to do
the back is complete
rolled and ready
like these graceful dancers
my hands will move the needles
so,welcome
into my land of white and not so white
where I plan to be for quite a while
and the reward can taste so good.

Sigh... I was just saying to a friend yesterday that one of the reasons why I love winter so much is all that white. So restful, peaceful, beautiful.

Your photos perfectly capture that.

I think white and snow is really everywhere now! Also here, in Milan-Italy we have 30 centimetres of snow...
I love white but... It's more than a month we have snow.. I am waiting for the springtime now...

Beautiful post, Teresa. We just got tons of snow here, too. It's very peaceful, until you have to go out in it! Thanks for the relaxation this morning.

Another gorgeous post - and that hot chocolate - I should like to be gossiping over a couple of cups of that.
