Girl-girl

This is my first granddaughter-she's 4 1/2 yrs old-we must add the 1/2...dosen't she look grand modelling her newest sweater this pattern is from ONE SKEIN but I made a few changes--I am also experimenting with different closures-I used a size 30 snap-actually 2 of them and then 2 smaller size 10's-she loves the snaps-now if we can only keep Lullabye from snatching this sweater...

Frickin' Cold

Okay,Am I a bad mamma or what-my grown son just left (after visiting for exactly 3 minutes-a long time for a 27 yr old) and I practically slammed the door in his face while he said goodbye-It is THAT FRICKIN' COLD!! The air blew in and I thought I need a coat on or something-makes me wish I had made that SUSS hot H2o bottle cover after all! I don't want to be cold in the winter-I want to be cold in the summer! I am a big complainer when it comes to the weather-my husband even warms my car before I get in-yes-I am that delicate! Some say I am spoiled rotten and I say so what-I deserve it -and by the way my son left with a dish of his favorite Tuna Noodle Casserole (he called it tuna noodle castle) and various other goodies that he could scarf up in 3 minutes...kids..I should knit him a scarf

does

Sometimes I'm slow-I just realised that T does Wool sounds like DEBBIE DOES DALLAS-my husband would agree that my mentality about wool is the same as Debbie"s is about Dallas! We were yarn shopping yesterday and I picked up more of a wonderful sock yarn that I found on vacation last summer-called MAIZY-and is made from corn fiber. It has a soft and springy hand and is available in subtle solids and variegated shades...I see a new project in the works
