compartments...

Compartmentalize: To separate into distinct parts, categories, or compartments... that is what I did today... moved things here and there.. sorted them out... everything in a perfectly orderly place... this helps me clear the way to create...to knit...or to make these... another needleroll, another huswife ,this one a little different than the others, this one made with mostly wools, some cottons, velvet and buttons... with compartments. I like to work with wool... knitting or sewing, making rugs. nothing compares to the richness of wool, the texture, the depth of colors, the ease of workmanship.
this one made for someone who loves flowers, who loves to garden, who loves the richness of the earth, someone who also works with wool... this one is for you,Lucy ... enjoy... and I promise there is some wooly goodness coming from the needles, next time.

You're a terrible tease, T. Those colors and textures are drool-worthy. Like brittany, I would like to see the whole thing too. You know, just send it to me so I can take a peek... :D

I love these so much! The use of wool incorporated in with the other fabrics is so great. It's like taking a little quilt and turning it into something useful.

Your needle rolls are so artistically and lovingly done. Lucky Lucy to be the recipient of this handcrafted gem!

I wish I was better at compartmentalizing. I really need to read a book on time management as I tend to fritter away so much time.

I over commit myself constantly, need to work on my time management skills...

theresa - a lovely development of the original but more textural and considered- the wool and blanket stitch adds a plushness and grandeur- beautiful, intimate shots without telling all- enticing

I love the thought and hand crafting that goes into each of your rolls. I've been secretly eyeing them from afar...
