leaves for a baby

Well, the time has come. The time has come to get out the ribbons and pink tissue. It is time to wrap the baby gifts. It is time to give Taylor away...and this, too... a leaf edged baby hat...isn't it adorable? I used less than one skein of Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino in pea green ...it is so soft and will be such a cute addition to the baby's wardrobe. a quick and easy knit, the pattern is here... love the leaf edging. A very clever addition to an otherwise simple baby hat. I hope Hailey will like it... me...well I will be collecting autumn leaves, and knitting myself a sweater... in a black tweed I'll keep you waiting just a little while longer...

It is so precious! I can just see this little topper on a new little one.

I started one in pink and lost faith when I had to pick up stitches around... Now I wish I had finished it!

Such a morning I've had! What a welcome respite to come to your peaceful blog and see your precious little hat. That quite possibly is the cutest baby hat I've seen!

The black tweed is gorgous.
