final chapter...

I great weight has lifted from my shoulders and a lighter one has rested on another... I hope the weight of this sweater is enough...You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. ~Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet... I have tried to give a little of myself with every stitch... It fits her well.I did not like the tie closure,so I went with a pick instead...she could use anything, really,or just leave it open...she says she loves it,she says she will wear it always... I was happy that she came this weekend...they live away;my sister, her mother, misses her dearly...so it was a pleasure for me to see my sister with a happy heart, her daughter and granddaughter to be, near...if only for a few days... She asked me not to show her face,I don't know why,it's beautiful, but I tried to obscure it as much as I could...so this chapter comes to an end. I now have time to concentrate on Stella. My mind is constantly considering other projects...the urge to create...the fire within always burning...

It is so gorgeous, the pefect thing to just throw on and dress up a plain outfit.

The desire to create - ah, yes. I know it well.

It's lovely. The pattern detail shows so nicely in the yarn you chose. When we give our handknits, there is so much of "us" in the finished product - it carries with it our thoughts, love, and hopes.
